Dallas, TX – July 15, 2003 – Dallas-Fort Worth based Wireless Telcorp, Inc. announced the commercial launch of its wireless broadband network for high speed data and Internet access service to the West Palm Beach area.

“West Palm and the surrounding area fit our model as a carbon copy of the other tier 2 and 3 markets served by Wireless Telcorp,” stated President, Weyher Dawson.  “Business growth and demographics, geographical topography, and the need for an alternative solution to the more expensive and longer deployment times required for dedicated high speed services offered by the telephone companies were key factors for this build-out,” Dawson stated.

Wireless Telcorp’s network is designed for a carrier class offering of bandwidth options to the business enterprise.  Fully symmetric and dedicated levels of service beginning at 256Kbps is scalable to T-1 and beyond to multi-meg levels, up to a full DS-3 or 45Mbps.  “However, deployment time to the customer’s premises within 72 hours with no local loop or copper phone line required is a significant advantage to the business customer needing access to quick high speed service,” said Dawson.  “And, of course this is especially true when there are just no other affordable options of any kind available.”

Not to be confused with the shared residential services like DSL or cable modems, which fail to meet most dedicated business requirements moving large or sensitive files, the wireless circuit is IP specific for committed information rates (CIR’s), and is made possible with simple rooftop installations operating on high frequency microwave channels, immune to rain and fog fade, to much taller distribution hub sites strategically located throughout the market area served.

Wireless Telcorp will initially focus on the individual business application, the multi-business tenant applications, and VPN solutions for businesses with multiple locations.  A flat rated-unlimited long distance bundled voice, or VoIP, offering is expected to be announced in early fall.  “An alternative solution by one company with one bill for a single circuit with voice, high speed data and Internet access is our definite objective.”
